Question:

I would like to hear from anyone who has info or experience of people with autoimmune diseases who had pets with the same or other autoimmune diseases. I am asking this in light of stories I have heard about George and Barbara Bush’s dog Millie who developed thyroid problems when they both had Graves’ disease, and other similar stories I am hearing.  Reply by private mail if you feel this is too off-topic to avoid clogging up the board.  LizG

Since the Bush’s problems stemmed from their contaminated water supply, an ill pet could have been harmed from the same source. idydal-Diana Remove nospam from email address.

I am going by memory, but the plumbing in the Vice President’s residence was old and of materials that contaminate the water. Probably lead.  Can I plead Ra fog? idydal-Diana Remove nospam from email address.
